Dr He graduated from the University of NSW with honours in 2005. After completing her physician and gastroenterology specialist training at Prince of Wales Hospital, she received a prestigious National Health and Medical Research Council Postgraduate Research Scholarship and the White-Walker Cancer Research Scholarship to conduct doctoral research in bowel cancer screening at the University of NSW and University of Oxford. She also completed a Churchill Fellowship to study emerging technologies and platforms in optimising bowel cancer screening. Dr He has authored a number of publications in bowel cancer screening and continues her research in bowel and liver cancer control at Cancer Council NSW.

Dr He is a Staff Specialist Gastroenterologist at Concord Hospital, and has admitting rights at Strathfield Private Hospital. She has private rooms in Concord and Cabramatta. She is interested and experienced in all aspects of general gastroenterology including bowel cancer screening, gastroesophageal reflux disease, peptic ulcer disease and functional gastrointestinal disorders such as irritable bowel syndrome. She also has an interest in liver disease, especially the management of viral hepatitis, fatty liver disease and liver cancer.

Dr He enjoys combining her clinical and research skills to offer the best care for her patients.
